Welcome to Almaher. These terms govern your use of the website almaher.app and the Almaher app, and anything sold through them (together, the “Service”). The Service is owned and operated by, and sold by, “Almaher” (the “Seller”). By using or buying the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

1. What the Service is

Almaher is a digital educational software application that helps you memorize and review the Quran. It includes: a Madinah-style Mushaf reader, an automated smart recitation check (“Sammi3li”) that listens to your recitation and flags mistakes, daily memorization, review and retention plans, and progress tracking. Some bundles also include a pre-recorded video course.

The Service is a self-service digital product. It does not include live classes, personal tutoring or religious rulings (fatwas); feedback in the app is automated. We offer email support for account and usage problems.

2. Your account

• You receive login details after completing your purchase and you are responsible for keeping them confidential.
• An account is personal to one user and must not be shared, sold or rented.
• The information you provide (such as your email address and phone number) must be accurate.

3. Purchases, prices and payment

• Prices are shown in US dollars on the Pricing page. They are a one-time payment, not a recurring subscription: there is no automatic renewal and no later charge.
• “Lifetime” means for as long as we operate the Service, including the updates we release.
• Taxes or fees may apply depending on your country; they are shown to you before you pay.
• Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. We do not store your card number.
• After payment is confirmed, your login details are emailed to you and your account is activated.

4. License and acceptable use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own personal purposes. You may not:

• copy, resell or redistribute the app or the course, re-publish its videos, or share your login details;
• attempt to hack, disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service, or extract its content by automated means;
• use the Service in violation of any law.

5. Content and ownership

The design, software, text and videos of the Service belong to Almaher. The text of the Quran and the recitations of the reciters belong to their respective rights holders and are used as made available. No ownership passes to you other than the right of use described above.

6. Refunds

You can request a refund within 7 days of your account being activated, under the conditions set out in our Refund Policy.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the app running, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may improve, change or add features. If we ever discontinue the Service permanently, we will give you notice where reasonably possible.

8. Disclaimer

Almaher is an aid for memorization and review. Automated recitation recognition can make mistakes and does not replace reciting to a qualified teacher to perfect your recitation. The Service is not a substitute for live instruction and is not a religious ruling. To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is”, without express or implied warranties.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the Service.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend your account if you breach these terms. You may request deletion of your account at any time as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time and will change the “Last updated” date above. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept it.
